BEFORE YOU START
Detergent drawer guidelines
The washing machine provides a three-compartment dispenser: one compartments for manual
input, and the other two for auto dispensing. With Auto Detergent and Auto Softener enabled, the
washing machine dispenses an adequate amount of detergent or fabric softener for each load. See
below for details:
A Detergent: Use this to add powder detergent manually.
B Auto Detergent: Use liquid detergent only.
C Auto Softener: Use fabric softener only.
CAUTION
• Do not open the detergent drawer while the washing machine is operating.
• Do not use the following types of detergent:
• Tablet or capsule types
• Ball or net types
• To prevent the compartment clogging, concentrated or highly-enriched agents (fabric
softener or detergent) must be diluted with water before being applied.
• Before moving the washing machine, make sure to empty the detergent drawer that
might contain detergent and/or fabric softener. The content in the drawer may spill out
on the floor.
To refill the detergent or fabric softener
1. Slide open the detergent drawer.
2. Apply an appropriate amount of detergent to the Auto
Detergent compartment (B). And apply an appropriate
amount of fabric softener to the Auto Softener compartment
(C) if necessary.
3. Slide the detergent drawer inward. Make sure the door is
closed.
