Installation requirements
Matters to be considered during handling
and transportation
• Place the product on a flat and solid ground
during transportation of the product.
• Take necessary precautions against the falling
and tipping risks of the product.
• Electricity must be disconnected before
moving.
• While carrying the product, do not hit or drop
it.
• Do not install the product near flammable
and explosive materials and do not keep
flammable and explosive materials near the
machine while it is running.
• Install the product in a place where you can
easily perform the installation, periodic
maintenance and cleaning of the machine.
Electrical supply and grounding
• Use an individual branch circuit specific to the
washing machine.
To ensure proper grounding, the washing machine
comes with a power cord featuring a three-prong
grounding plug for use in a properly installed and
grounded outlet.
Check with a qualified electrician or service
person if you are not sure about the grounding.
Do not modify the provided plug. If it does not fit
the outlet, call a qualified electrician to install a
suitable outlet.
WARNING
• Do NOT use an extension cord.
• Use only the power cord that comes with the
washing machine.
• Do NOT connect the ground wire to plastic
plumbing, gas lines, or hot water pipes.
• Improperly connected grounding conductors
may cause electric shock.
