* When connecting or re-locating the unit, be sure
to turn the power off or disconnect the power
cable.
* Be sure not to confuse the right channel with
the left, plus cables with minus or inputs with
outputs. Check each step carefully.
* Disconnect the power plug from the outlet
when you do not intend to use the unit for a
long period of time.
Speaker systems
To SPEAKERS SYSTEM-A or B terminals, con-
nect speaker cords taking care not to confuse the
right channel with the left, the plus porary with
the minus.
® Be sure that exposed leads are firmly secured to
the terminals.
Preamplifier
Connect preamplifier OUTPUT terminals with
the unit's INPUT terminals, making sure the
LEFT and RIGHT channels are correctly con-
nected.
* it is convenient to power the unit by connect-
ing it to the “SWITCHED” AC outlet (if one is
provided) on your preamplifier. The power to
the unit can then be switched on and off using
the POWER switch of the preamplifier.
Be careful that power consumption must not
exceed the power capacity of the preamplifier's
AC outlet.
* Instructions and requirements indicated may
vary to some extent depending on sales area,
local laws and regulations.

* Quand vous branchez |‘appareil ou si vous |‘in-
stallez dans un nouvel endroit, assurez-vous de
couper l’alimentation ou de déconnecter le
cable d’alimentation.
* S’assurer de ne pas confondre le canal droit
avec le canal gauche, les cables de polarité
positive et ceux de polarité négative et les en-
trées et les sorties. Contréler chaque étape
soigneusement.
* Débrancher la fiche d’alimentation de sa prise
quand on n’envisage pas d’utiliser l'appareil
pendant un temps relativement prolongé.
Enceintes
Pour les bornes SPEAKERS SYSTEM-A ou B,
connecter les cables des enceintes en prenant bien
soin de ne pas confondre le canal droit et gauche
et la polarité positive avec la négative.
® Bien s’assurer que les parties exposées des con-
ducteurs sont bien fixées dans les bornes.
Preamplificateur
Relier les bornes OUTPUT du préamplificateur
aux bornes INPUT de l'appareil en veillant a bien
raccorder les canaux gauche (LEFT) et droit
(RIGHT).
* {tl est recommandé d’alimenter l'appareil en le
branchant a la prise de courant alternatif mar-
quée “SWITCHED” (en circuit), s‘il en existe
une sur le préamplificateur utilisé. En effect,
l‘alimentation peut alors étre établie ou coupée
par |‘intermeédiaire de |‘interrupteur d’alimenta-
tion (POWER) de le préamplificateur.
Veiller a ce que l’alimentation de l'appareil ne
dépasse pas la capacité de la prise de courant
alternatif de le preamplificateur.

*Zum AnschlieRen bzw. wenn der Aufstellung-
sort dieses Gerates geandert wird, unbedingt
den Netzschalter ausschalten und das Netzkabel
abziehen.
*Nicht den rechten Kanal mit dem. linken,
positive mit negativen Kabeln bzw. Eingange
mit Ausgangen verwechseln. Nach dem Ansch-
lieRen unbedingt jede einzelne Komponente
uberprufen.
* Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Gerdates aus der
Netzsteckdose ab, wenn Sie es fur langere Zeit
nicht benutzen wollen.
Lautsprecherboxen
An die mit SPEAKERS SYSTEM-A oder B be-
zeichneten Klemmen sind die Lautsprecherkabel
anzuschlie&en; dabei jedoch darauf achten, da
der rechte nicht mit dem linken Kanal und der
positive Leiter nicht mit dem negativen ver-
wechselt wird.
@ Darauf achten, dafg die blanken Leiter richtig
an den Klemmen gesichert sind.
Vorverstarker |
Die Ausgangsklemmen (OUTPUT) des Vorver-
starkers an die Eingangsklemmen (INPUT) des
Gerates anschlie&en und dabei darauf acten, dah
der rechte (RIGHT) und linke (LEFT) Kanal
richtig angeschlossen ist. as |
*Es ist empfehlenswert, das Gerat an der
SWITCHED-Wechselstrom-Steckdose anzu-
schlief&en, falls am Vorverstarker eine vor-
handen ist. Die Stromversorgung kann dann
zusammen mit dem Netzschalter (POWER) des
Vorverstarkers ein- und abgeschaltet werden.
Beachten Sie bitte, dal der Stromverbrauch des
Gerates die Leistungskapazitat des Steckdosen-
ausgangs nicht Ubersteigen darf.
