TUNING
Control
Use
it
to
tune
in
on
the
frequency
of
a
desired
AM
or
FM
station.

SIGNAL
Indicator
It
indicates
the
signal
strength
at
the
antenna
input
terminals
of
a
re-
ceived
AM
or
FM
station.

TUNE
Indicator
The
optimal
tuning
position
for
FM
broadcasts
is
achieved
when
the
round
indicator
light
in
the
center
of
the
TUNE
indicator
lights
up.
When
tuning
slips
slightly
from
the
optimal
tuning
position,
the
round
indicator
light
goes
off
and
one
of
the
triangular
indicators
at
the
left
and
right
of
the
round
indicator
light
comes
on.
The
triangular
indica-
tor
lights
point
in
the
direction
the
tuning
control
should
be
moved.
When
tuning
slips
totally
from
signal,
triangular
indicator
lights
also
go
off.

TUNE
tndicator
is
not
in
operation
during
AM
reception.

VOLUME
Control
It
adjusts
the
output
level
(volume)
of
your
audio
system.
The
more
to
the
right
it
is
turned,
the
greater
the
volume.

BALANCE
Control
The
volume
of
the
left
and
right
speakers
can
be
adjusted
by
the
BALANCE
contro}.
As
the
control
is
turned
counterclockwise
from
the
center
position,
the
sound
from
the
left
speaker
becomes
louder
than
that
from
the
right
speaker,
and
vice
versa.
Adjust
so
that
the
sounds
from
the
left
and
right
speakers
are
heard
with
equal
volume
at
your
listening
position.

Jack

MIC
MIXING
LEVEL
Control
Insert
a
microphone
plug
into
the
front-panel
MIC
jack
and
adjust
its
level
with
the
MIC
MIXING
LEVEL
control.
You
can
mix
microphone
sounds
with
other
program
sources.

to
page
36).

When
no
microphone
is
used,
be
sure
to
turn
its
control
fully
counterclockwise
to
the
‘’0”
position.
