Why does my Santak C1K battery discharge time diminish quickly?
    • J
      Jonathan KellyAug 13, 2025
The battery discharge time may diminish because the battery hasn't been fully charged. Keep the UPS connected to utility power persistently for more than 10 hours to charge the battery again. It could also be that the UPS is overloaded, so check the load status and remove any non-critical devices. Finally, the battery may be aged, in which case you should replace it.

What to do if the #8 utility power LED blinks on my Santak C1K?
    • B
      Brandon WarrenAug 16, 2025
If the #8 utility power LED is blinking, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the UPS might be running in battery mode because the voltage or frequency of the utility power is out of the input range. To prevent data loss, save your work and close applications. Ensure that the utility power is within the input voltage frequency range permitted by the UPS. Second, there might be reversed polarity (L,N) of site wiring. In this case, check the polarity of the neutral and line wiring.

      thomaswhitneyAug 25, 2025
This indicates that the UPS is overloaded or the load device is faulty when running on battery. Check the load and remove any non-critical devices. Recalculate the load power and reduce the number of loads connected to the UPS. Also, check whether the load device is faulty.
