range, there might be a tendency to set the volume on the amplifier
unnecessarily high. Doing so may produce an excessively large

The speaker wires should be connected to the speaker terminals with the
proper polarity. The red terminals are (+) positive and black terminals are
(-) negative.

Aerials
FM aerial
In areas close to a transmitter the simple indoor aerial is sufficient to
receive FM broadcasts. Extend the aerial wire as straight as possible and,
while listening to the sound from the system, secure it in a position which
yields minimal distortion and noise.
In fringe areas or where reception is distorted or noisy, an FM outdoor
aerial (not supplied) should be connected instead of the simple indoor
aerial. Consult your dealer.
AM loop aerial
Mount the loop aerial in the aerial holder and place it in a position which
yields the best AM reception, or attach the aerial holder to a wall or other
surface. Adjust the angle of the aerial for the best reception.
Note:
To minimize noise, do not place the aerial close to the system or a TV.
