FREEZER COMPONENTS
Control panel
1. Alarm buzzer stop key (BUZZER): To stop the alarm from sounding, press this key. Should a
further abnormality occur, the buzzer will sound automatically.
2. Filter check lamp (FILTER CHECK): This lamp lights when the condenser filter is clogged. Clean
the condenser filter according to page 19 “Cleaning of condenser filter”.
3. Alarm lamp (ALARM) and buzzer: they operate in the following cases:
a) Break down or power failure at the power supply.
- Alarm lamp flickering, buzzer sounds.
b) The following procedure shows the setting of alarm temperature according to the condition
below:
High temperature alarm: activates at the temperature 10
o
C (factory setting) higher than the set
temperature
Low temperature alarm: activates at the temperature -10
o
C (factory setting) lower than the set
temperature
- Alarm lamp flickering, buzzer sounds about 15 minutes later.
4. Alarm test key (ALARM TEST): To check the alarm system during freezer operation. Pressing
this key with the battery switch ON gets the alarm lamp to flash, the remote alarm to operate, and the
buzzer to sound.
5. Set key (SET): Chamber temperature setting mode is led by pressing this key. The changeable
digit is flashed. Pressing this key again after temperature setting memorizes the setting.
6. Digit shift key ( ): Pressing this key in the setting mode causes the changeable digit to shift.
Key lock mode is led by pressing this key for more than 5 seconds in the temperature display mode.
Refer to page 14 for the key lock function.
7. Numerical value shift key ( ): Pressing this key in the setting mode causes the numerical value
to shift.
8. Battery switch: It is the switch of the battery for the power failure alarm. Turn it on usually. Turn it
off when you do not use the freezer for a long time (More than one month).

Back-up test switch (TEST): (AT type): Examine the functions of the back-up system. This
switch allows liquid CO
2
to spout under any circumstances. Handle it according to page 29 “Back-up
system for AT type”.

Back-up switch (CO
2
BACK UP): (AT type): Switch ON for operation of the back-up system
and switch OFF for stopping. Handle this switch according to page 29 “Back-up system for AT type”.
11. Power switch (POWER): Power all functions except remote alarm and back-up system for AT
type.
12. Temperature recorder (AT type): This records the internal temperature. Refer to page 27
“Temperature recorder for AT type”.
