Resetting Your Picture Mail Account
This option resets your authentication ID for your Sprint
Picture Mail account.
To reset your Picture Mail account:
1. Select >Settings > Security, and then enter your lock
code. (The Security menu is displayed.)
2. Select Picture Mail > Reset Pic. Mail. (A warning appears.)
3. Press OK (left softkey) to continue.
4. If you are certain that you would like to reset your
Picture Mail account, select
Yes.
Resetting and Locking Your Phone
Through SMS
When your phone is lost or stolen, you can erase your
important personal information (such as Contacts entries, call
history, and messages) and lock your phone by sending a
specially-formatted SMS message to your phone.
From your computer, sign on to
www.sprint.c om and send a
message to your phone (input your 10-digit wireless phone
number) in the following format:
\ \ RESET **<Passcode>** RESET
<Passcode> - your defined passcode.
The default passcode is your phone’s 18-digit MEID (Mobile
Equipment Identifier), which is written on the package or on
the phone itself. The locked phone will display the following
message: “If found, please call Sprint Customer Service
1-888-211-4727.
