5.6 Changing work attachments
5.6.1 General
In order to achieve maximum utilisation of the
machine for a variety of applications, a great
number of work attachments are available.
Attention
When the work attachments have been
removed, they must be secured against tilting
and overturning to avoid possible injuries to
persons.
Note
The hydraulic system must be relieved of
pressure before hydraulic connections are
disconnected.
5.6.2 Assembly of work attachments
Note
The bearings of the work attachment, the
dipperstick and the bucket rod must be free of
dirt.

Procedure for changing attachments
Lower the work attachment to the ground and
position so that it cannot tilt. Remove the pins
which connect the attachment to the dipperstick
and the bucket rod.
Mount another work attachment.
