High precision bearings for combined loads
Checking the fixing screws
The fixing screws must be checked regularly, especially in
the following circumstances:
■
high tilting moment load
■
continuous and alternating axial load
In order to compensate for settling effects, check the tightening
torque M
A
of the fixing screws after initial operation of the bearing
and, if there is any deviation, tighten to the specified value.
Check the tightening torques M
A
of the fixing screws within
the framework of the machine service intervals and, if necessary,
correct to the specified value. If the bearing is replaced, new fixing
screws must always be used. Failure to follow these instructions
can lead to personal injury or damage to property.
