Important technical service instructions / note to customer
The espresso pump is NOT self-sucking
Risk of damage to the espresso pump when running empty
The coffee machine must therefore have an upstream pressure on the line side of 0.5 bar. This means:
Under no circumstances must the coffee machine be operated with an external tank which does not have a supply pump between it and
the machine
If low pressure is activated by the software (2.7 bar machine variant only- prior to Mod.03), the water inlet pressure switch does not lead to
"No water in- put pressure" message but a flow meter evaluation during coffee dispensing. During boiler filling, and when dispensing hot
water, NO flow meter evalua- tion takes place and the message "Water pressure is missing" does NOT appear. If the customer is unable to
guarantee the on-site line pressure as specified in the planning information the machine is switched to low pressure, the customer must be
informed of the aforementioned/ the customer MUST ensure that the required water pressure is present before dispensing.
