1.5.3 Brewer
Description - structure
• A vertically arranged piston brewer is installed without an ejection mechanism for each brewing group.
• The brewing piston/distributor sieve is connected with the brewer spindle via a bayonet connector and is protected from being pulled out with a pis-
ton lock.
• The vertically tamped ground coffee are brewed with hot water from top to bottom.
• The spindle is protected from dirt from the ground coffee chute with a bellow seal valve.
• The brewing end position (brewer calibration) is detected by a microswitch at the upper end of the brewing spindles.
Starting from this end position, all travel orders are identified which read from a Hall sensor in the brewer drive. The brewer calibration is carried out regu-
larly, several times a day.
