SCHROTH HANS - HANS System Inspection; Tether Inspection; Screw and Clip Inspection; Shoulder Belt Routing Verification

The following should be
inspected before every occasion
you wear your HANS
®
system.
Te ther Fraying/Cuts:
Look for any fraying and/or
cuts in the tether webbing.
Checking the entire tether from
the helmet attachment to the
routing and fastener at the
back of the HANS
®
device.
Te ther Clip Screws:
The Hex Screws at the rear of
the HANS
®
collar should be
secure and tightly fastened
(tightened and secured with
Blue Loctite is recommended)
Helmet Clips:
Check for any movement or
looseness in the helmet clips.
The clips should not be
removed, replaced or
repositioned.
Clip System to the Helmet:
Check for securely fastened
and positioned clip systems.
The clip system must be
completely installed as
described and must not be
altered or repositioned.
Shoulder Belt Routing:
Verify and maintain the correct
and optimal routing of your
shoulder belts based on the
suggested installation of this
document.

System Inspection
Überprüfung des HANS
®
Systems
Vor jedem Einsatz des Systems sind die nachfol-
genden Inspektionsschritte durchzuführen.
Haltebänder:
Prüfen Sie, ob beide Haltebänder frei von
Anschnitten und Rissen sind. Inspizieren Sie
über die gesamte Länge der Bänder vom Helm-
Clips bis zum frei überhängenden Ende.
Schrauben der Klemmbügel:
Die Innensechskantschrauben sollen strammge-
zogen und gesichert sein. (Die Verwendung von
„Blue Loctite“ oder einem adäquaten anderen
Produkt wird empfohlen)
Helm-Clip System:
Prüfen Sie, dass die Schrauben am Clip System
fest angezogen sind. Das Clip System muss
vollständig montiert sein und darf nicht
ummontiert oder an eine andere Stelle des
Helmes verlagert werden.
Schultergurtverlauf:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der korrekte und optimale
Schultergurtverlauf gemäß den Anweisungen in
diesem Dokument ist.
