What to do if the CHECK light flashes on Schumacher SpeedCharge 6000A Battery Charger?
    • K
      kpriceAug 5, 2025
The CHECK (red) light may flash on your Schumacher Battery Charger before the battery is fully charged if the battery didn't reach full charge within 24 hours. This could be due to a very large battery or a bank of batteries needing more power than the charger can provide in that time, or the battery may be faulty. To reset the charger, unplug it or briefly disconnect the negative battery clip, then select the desired charge rate and battery type again, if necessary.

Why does the green CHARGED light turn on too fast on my Schumacher SpeedCharge 6000A?
    • B
      barbarahernandezAug 11, 2025
If the green CHARGED light on your Schumacher Battery Charger turns on quickly after connecting, the battery may already be fully charged or recently charged, resulting in a high voltage. If the battery is in a vehicle, turn the headlights on for a few minutes to reduce the battery voltage and then try charging again.

What to do if indicator lights are erratic on Schumacher SpeedCharge 6000A?
    • R
      Robert LeeAug 17, 2025
If the indicator lights on your Schumacher Battery Charger are behaving erratically and are not explained in the manual, the charger may be defective or you might have accidentally activated a special diagnostic mode. Return it to the place of purchase for a replacement. First, ensure nothing is touching the control panel, then unplug the unit and plug it in again.
