    • Return Arrow (←): Go back to the previous screen.
    • X (upper right corner): Enter Save Changes menu (Save, Discard, or Return to Programming).
  • Installation:
    • The Distribution Module should be mounted to a sturdy, flat surface using 1/4" (6.35mm) hardware. Keep away from extreme heat sources and moving parts.
    • The top of the unit must receive free airflow as it can get hot.
    • Data connectors must be properly aligned to avoid damage to contact pins. Hand tighten only.
    • Terminator Plug must be installed in the Distribution Module's open 8-pin female connector, or the last module in a multi-module chain.
    • Disconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal before installation to prevent electrical damage.
    • Use a volt/ohm meter over a test light to check wiring. Avoid factory airbag wiring.

Maintenance Features:

  • Water Protection:
    • IPX6 (splashing/spraying): Skip silicone grease steps.
    • IPX7 (full submersion):
      1. Evenly fill female connectors with silicone grease slightly below the flat shoulder or pin tips.
      2. Plug in male connector, wipe off excess grease.
      3. Plug in connectors.
      4. Ensure all compression brackets are properly installed and tightly snapped in.
  • Temperature Management: The system is designed to operate within a wide temperature range (-40C-105C). Extremely high temperatures may temporarily affect the display, with normal operation resuming once the unit cools.
  • Data Saving: The M8RIX saves changes to non-volatile memory on ignition shutdown. Disconnecting or shutting off main power before ignition shutdown will result in losing programming changes. Once ignition is shut down, all changes are saved even if main power is disconnected.
  • Factory Reset: Option to return Display or Module to factory settings, losing all changes.
