A: 1. Make sure the machine programming is set up properly. Factory seng is 39°F. Seng the
machine any lower could cause the machine to freeze up.
2. Inspect the evaporator coil to see if it may be frozen over. Using a ashlight shine it into the
evaporator fan located under the boom tray. You are looking for aluminum ns behind the fan motor.
If they are completely white or solid with ice this will keep the air from owing properly and cause the
machine to not cool. To thaw out remove the 4 prong condensing unit plug, not the evaporator fan plug
and just close the door and let set for overnight to insure it completely defrosts. Be prepared in case the
defrost water pan overows on the oor. You may need to set some towels around and under the machine
to catch any overow. Aer the machine is thawed completely out you will want to check the temperature
sengs to insure they are not set too cold.
3. Check the door switch. The easiest test is to close the door, then while opening the door
watch the display to see if you see the message No Errors and hear an audible beep. If you do not then
suspect the door switch may need adjustment. You can reach over the door and press it manually while
watching the display to see if it works.
4. As a manual test of the cooling system you can enter the Test Mode secon of the menu and
select the Test Relays funcon. Relay 1 controls the condensing unit, and Relay 2 controls the evaporator
fan. If either one does not turn on while tesng, then suspect a relay has quit working or connecon has
become loose.
CAUTIONS:
1. High voltage is located in the area of the unit and could cause injury or death.
2. Replacement of the bill acceptor, coin changer, front panel display, system control
board or vend motors should only be performed by trained personnel with power discon-
nected from the vending machine.
