Why am I getting an irregular weld head with my Sealey Welding System?
    • Q
      qmartinezSep 9, 2025
An irregular weld head can be caused by holding the torch incorrectly; use the correct torch angle. It could also be due to the wire weaving in the weld pool; check the roller tension and adjust it.

What to do if the feed motor is not working on my Sealey EM130XT.V3?
    • C
      Colleen SalazarSep 12, 2025
If the feed motor isn't working, first check if the fuse is blown. If so, replace the fuse. If the fuse is not the problem, the gears might be damaged or worn, and they would need to be replaced. Finally, the motor itself might be defective, in which case you should contact a service agent to replace the motor.

Why does the wire drive fuse keep blowing on my Sealey EM130XT.V3 Welding System?
    • T
      Tina ReyesSep 13, 2025
If the wire drive fuse keeps blowing, it could be because the wire tension is too great; reduce the tension. Alternatively, the gas cup contact tip might be clogged; clean the gas cup and contact tip.

Why is the fuse blowing in the 13 amp plug and there is no weld current in my Sealey EM130XT.V3 Welding System?
    • B
      Brandon GreenSep 15, 2025
If the fuse is blowing in the 13amp plug and there is no weld current, the rectifier may have blown. Replace the rectifier.

Why is the weld current interrupted on my Sealey EM130XT.V3?
    • S
      Sheila GatesSep 16, 2025
The weld current may be interrupted because the overheating protection has been activated due to an overload. The protection automatically resets when the transformer has cooled down, which takes approximately 15 minutes.
