6. Storing the scale
The scale can be stored upright to save space. Secure the scale so that it does not fall
over when stored in the upright position.
– Remove the mains unit plug from the
mains socket.
– Remove the mains unit plug from the
connecting socket on the scale.
– Undo the locking bolts and fold the
handrail down carefully until it is in full
contact.
– Push up the latch, ensuring that it en-
gages securely in the handrail.
– Fold up the ramps.
– Carefully pick up the scale by the handle
and move it using the castors on the
other side of the scale.
Note:
Please avoid knocks, especially to the
display part, when transporting the scale.
7. Cleaning
Clean the surface and the housing as required using a domestic cleaning agent or commer-
cially-available disinfectant. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Under no circumstances use abrasive or acid cleaners, white spirit, benzene or the like for
cleaning. Such substances can damage the high-quality surfaces.
