4 STARTING UP DEVICE
4.1 Removing locking pin
1. Move the locking pin on the underside of the housing through a quarter turn
counter-clockwise.
2. Pull the locking pin out.
NOTE
► Put the locking pin in a safe place for subsequent transport of the
scale.
4.2 Removing transport lock
► Remove the transport lock from the lower part of the housing.
NOTE
► Put the transport lock in a safe place for subsequent transport of
the scale.
► You can use the transport lock as a wall spacer (Fitting wall
spacer,page28).
4.3 Fitting wall spacer
If you wish to position the scale close to a wall, seca recommends using the
transport lock (see section “Removing transport lock”) as a wall spacer. This
stops the weighing platform from touching the wall and the measuring result
from being incorrect.
1. Position the transport lock as shown in the adjacent drawing.
