5.14 Mobil GPS Data
(This option is only usable with the mobile function switched on)
This option allows your SECACAM to save its GPS coordinates in the meta-
data of a taken picture. You will also get the coordinates of your camera with
every picture, that your SECACAM sends you via e-mail.
To save power, your SECACAM checks its location every 24 hours or after
restarting the camera.
5.15 Battery Type
The SECACAM can also be used with rechargeable batteries type AA 1.5V.
In order to get a correct battery display you can choose which battery type
you are using in this menu. Generally rechargeable batteries have a higher
capacity but a lower voltage than disposable batteries.
5.16 Date/Time
Before using the SECACAM for the first time it is necessary to set the time and
date. Use the up and down arrow buttons to change the setting, with the right
and left arrow button you move one position forward or backward. Confirm
the settings with "OK". The date and time will now appear in every shot to
document the exact second a photo has been recorded.
You might also pick the option "automatic" so the SECACAM will take the
time and date from the cellular network. You might still have to correct for
winter- or summertime manually.
5.17 Language
Choose the desired menu language. In Europe "German" is activated by de-
fault. You can also switch the menu to English, Spanish, French or Italian.
5.18 Camera Name
You have the option to name your camera which is then displayed in the cap-
tion of all photos taken. When your camera is switched to the SETUP option
and you access the menu settings, there is a submenu option for ‘Camera
Name’. Using the left and right arrow keys, you can move the position of the
selected character backward or forward and with the up and down arrows
you can change the letter. The name can be up to 12 characters long.
