Danger of fire or electrocution: Switch off the camera and remove the bat-
teries if a foreign body or liquid has entered the camera. Let all parts of the
camera dry thoroughly or the risk of fire and/or electrocution may occur.
The warranty will void, if the camera is taken apart, is modified or re-
paired by unauthorized personnel.
16. Maintenance and Disposal
Care: Do not use any corrosive cleaners, such as methylated spirits, thinners,
etc. to clean the camera housing and supplied accessory. When required,
clean system components with a soft dry cloth.
Disposal: For disposal, separate packaging into different types
and dispose of in line with environmental regulations in supplied
collection containers. Batteries and storage batteries may not be
disposed in domestic waste. Consumers are obliged by law to
return used batteries to communal collection points or dealers
selling batteries. Storage batteries and batteries do therefore
contain the adjacent symbol
Correct Disposal of Product: The adjacent symbol indicates
that electrical and electronic equipment may not be disposed of
in domestic waste in the EU. Please use the return and collection
points of your local council or contact the dealer you purchased
the product from. This prevents potentially harmful effects on the
environment and health as a result of incorrect disposal. For fur-
ther information contact the respective department of your local
council.
17. Warranty and Service
VenTrade, as defined below, warrants this SECACAM-branded hardware
product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for
a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original
end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a hardware defect arises and a
valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, VenTrade will
either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished
replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or
