Maintenance Features

The Sena Savage is designed with user-friendly maintenance in mind, primarily focusing on software updates and troubleshooting:

  • Firmware Updates: Users can update the product's firmware for free to enjoy the latest advanced features. This is done by visiting sena.com/device-manager-download/ and following the instructions. Regular firmware updates ensure optimal performance and access to new functionalities.
  • Sena Device Manager: This software, compatible with PC and Apple computers, allows users to upgrade firmware and configure settings directly. It enables customization of speed dial presets, FM radio station presets, and other parameters.
  • Sena Smartphone App: A dedicated app for both Android and Apple operating systems (available at sena.com/headset-app) allows users to configure headset settings, access user guides, and manage the device directly from their smartphone after pairing.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Factory Reset: A function to restore the headset to its original factory default settings, useful for resolving persistent issues. This involves holding a button for 10 seconds, followed by an audible prompt "Factory reset," and then executing the reset with a single tap.
    • Fault Reset: In cases where the system encounters a fault, connecting the USB charging and data cable to a power supply will automatically turn off the system and initiate a fault reset. It's important to note that a fault reset does not restore factory default settings.
  • Chinstrap Maintenance: Users are advised to regularly check the chinstrap's position and tension to ensure a proper and safe fit.

The Sena Savage aims to provide a robust, integrated, and user-friendly communication solution for motorcyclists, making every ride more connected and enjoyable.
