RETAIN PERMANENTLY IN MANUAL
Before using tool, read and understand all tool labels and manual including these
additional safety instructions. Failure to do so could result in DEATH or
SERIOUS INJURY.
Always select an actuation system that is appropriate for the fastener application and training of tool
operator. Contact Senco at www.senco.com for information on actuation systems options.
Do not operate tool in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or combustible dust.
Do not modify tool unless authorized in tool manual or approved in writing by Senco.
Always refer to tool maintenance instructions for detailed information on proper maintenance of a
tool. Only qualified personnel shall repair the tool using parts supplied or recommended by Senco or parts
that perform equivalently.
Use only fasteners and accessories made or recommended by Senco, or fasteners and accessories
that perform equivalently to those recommended by Senco.
Tool operator and all other people in work area shall wear approved eye protection. Employers are
responsible for enforcing personal protective equipment requirements for tool operators and all other
personnel in work area.
Before operating, inspect tool to confirm
use of proper power source
that tool is in proper working order
what actuation system is on tool and how it operates
no misalignment or binding of moving parts
all conditions necessary for proper and safe tool operation
Operating Controls
Do not use tool with missing or damaged safety warning label(s.)
Do not use tool that is not in proper working order. Tag and physically segregate tool to prevent use.
Do not remove, tamper with, or otherwise cause tool operating controls to become inoperable.
Do not operate tool if any portion of the tool operating controls is inoperable, disconnected, altered,
or not working properly.
Tool Handling
Only persons who have read and understand tool operating/safety instructions should operate tool.
Always assume that tool contains fasteners.
Do not point tool toward yourself or anyone whether it contains fasteners or not.
Keep bystanders and children away while operating tool.
