What to do if Shark S7000 not making steam?
    • K
      Kimberly RobertsonAug 1, 2025
If your Shark unit won't make steam, check if there's water in the water tank. If not, add water following the instructions on page 4. When using the unit in handheld mode, hold it horizontally to optimize steam output. Avoid holding it vertically, as this will impede steam production. Use the hose with your chosen accessory to reach difficult areas while keeping the handheld unit horizontal. If it still doesn't make steam, follow the instructions on page 13 to clean the nozzle.

Why are floors cloudy after using Shark S7000 Steam Cleaner?
    • C
      Christian FlowersAug 6, 2025
Cloudy, streaky, or spotty floors after steaming with your Shark Steam Cleaner could be due to a dirty cleaning pad. Try changing the pad. If you washed the pad with powder detergent, it might be damaged and need replacing. You can find replacement pads at www.sharkclean.com. It could also be due to prior soap or grease buildup on the floor. Because steam mops use only a small amount of water, it may not be enough to rinse off the buildup. Try rinsing the floor with water only, letting it dry, and then steam mopping again with a clean pad. For stubborn cases, rinse with a mix of one part vinegar and two parts water.

      graymistyAug 16, 2025
If your Shark Multi-Function Steam Mop Lite left a white spot on the floor, avoid leaving your steam mop on the floor with a damp or wet cleaning pad. If you’re using tap water, switch to distilled water. Ensure the cap is securely on the water tank.
