■ Broadcast wave and service area
The radio wave received via Mobacas/Full-Seg/1Seg differs from
that received via Xi services and FOMA services. Also, the radio
waves received via Mobacas, Full-Seg and 1Seg differ from one
another. Therefore, it cannot be received at a place where the
broadcast wave for Mobacas/Full-Seg/1Seg does not reach or
while the broadcasting is out of service, regardless of whether the
handset is outside or inside the Xi service or FOMA service area.
Also, in the following places, the reception status may become
weak or the signal may not be received even if the handset is inside
the area of a Mobacas broadcasting/terrestrial digital TV
broadcasting service.
Place that is far from the base station/radio tower which sends
the signal
Place where the signal is interrupted due to the landscape or
buildings such as mountainous areas or behind a building
Place where the signal is weak or does not reach, such as a
tunnel, basement or an inner area of a building
■ Improving reception status
Fully pull out the Mobacas/TV antenna and change its direction or
move to another place so that the reception status may become
better.
■ Mobacas/TV antenna
Note the followings when you use the Mobacas/TV antenna.
Fully pull out the base of the Mobacas/TV antenna as shown
in the following illustration. The Mobacas/TV antenna may tilt
or wobble.
Do not apply excessive force on the Mobacas/TV antenna
when it is pulled out or when you change the direction of it.
When you stow the antenna, do not hold its tip and stow it
forcibly. Push it straightly down to its tip with its bottom fixed to
completely stow it.
If you apply excessive force on the antenna, it may be damaged.

Receiving reservation in Shift Time
In the following cases, programs/contents may not be received.
When the time for a program/content to be broadcast arrives
with the handset turned off
When the battery level is insufficient
When the handset is in a poor reception status of broadcast
wave such as when it is out of the Mobacas service area
When a microSD Card is not inserted
When available space on the microSD Card/the handset
memory is insufficient
