01 Displays
warm-up time
and aging test
with alert for
paper misfeed.
[Content] 1. The warm-up time can be checked.
2. Aging test (with alert for paper misfeed) can be performed repeatedly by the
preset number of copies.
If the [PRINT] key is pressed after entering a sub code, the copier exits the
simulation mode to start warming up. At this time, the warm-up time is displayed
on the multiple display unit. The display counts up by seconds after the start of
warming up and stops counting up when warming up is terminated.
If the [CA] key is pressed, the multiple display unit is reset to zero. If the [PRINT]
key is pressed after entering the number of copies you want to make, that set
number of copies is made. If the [PRINT] key is pressed without pressing [CA],
single copies are made repeatedly.
To clear the aging test mode:
1. Turn OFF/ON the main switch (on the left-hand side of the copier)
2. Enter the simulation mode and press the [CA] to exit the simulation mode.

[Content] 1. The warm-up is disabled. The optical system is initialized and shaded.
2. Fusing temperature control is not performed. (The heater lamp does not come
on.)
3. Aging test (without alert for paper misfeed) can be performed repeatedly by the
preset number of copies.
If the [PRINT] key is pressed after entering a sub code, the copier exits the
simulation mode and initializes and shades the optical system. After the opera-
tions, the copier becomes the copy ready state.
If the [PRINT] key is pressed after entering the number of copies you want to
make, that set number of copies is made repeatedly, without alert for misfeed.
(Before copying the first sheet of paper, the process controller is activated.)
To clear the aging test mode:
1. Turn OFF/ON the main switch (on the left-hand side of the copier)
2. Enter the simulation mode and press the [CA] to exit the simulation mode.
