[Content] The exposure level in the copy mode can be adjusted.
If the [PRINT] key is pressed after entering a sub code, the copier exits the
simulation mode and starts warming up. After warming up, the copier becomes the
copy ready state, displaying the current setting of the exposure level in the [XXX].
In the case of the manual/photo/soft focus photo modes, the exposure setting is
determined based on EXP-3.0. Other density settings are automatically deter-
mined.
(The setting varies by 10 levels for every EXP-0.5.)
When the density selection key is set for [Dark], copies are made at a density level
of EXP5; when the density selection key is set for [Light], copies are made at a
density level of EXP1. The setting can be changed with the numeric keypad. After
entering a new value with the numeric keypad, the setting is updated by pressing
the [PRINT] key. (The cursor remains at the same copy density mode.)
The copy density mode can be changed with the [] key. The current setting of
the copy density mode is displayed in reverse video in the [XXX]. If the [PRINT]
key is pressed without entering a new setting, a copy is made at the current copy
density setting. However, multiple copies cannot be carried out.
* The greater the input value, the darker copy density becomes; the smaller the
input value, the lighter copy density becomes.

[PRINT]: If the entered value is valid, the current setting is updated. If the entered
value is not valid, the input field is cleared and the error buzzer sounds.
If the entered value is not valid, the input field is cleared and the error
buzzer sounds. If any value is not entered, the setting is not updated and
copies are made at the current copy density setting.
[0-9]: Enters new settings (the setting is displayed at the COPIES SELECTED
display).
[C]: Clears the input field.
[]: Moves the input field.
[PAUSE]: No setting is made and the sub code input screen is displayed. If the sub
code “1” is entered and the simulation is executed, the copier directly
becomes the copy ready state, omitting the shading/process control.
