[Content] The value which corrects the difference in CCD output level between the shading
correction white plate and the actual document is set. If the [PRINT] key is pressed
with a sheet of white paper placed on the document table and the document cover
closed, the optical unit moves to read the CCD output of the shading correction
white plate and the CCD output of the white paper. The copier calculates the
correction value from the output levels and stores in memory.
