(Thermistor)
• Make sure the middle of the thermistor is in contact with the heat
rollers.
• Remove any foreign matter from the thermistor surface with al-
cohol.
(Discharge brush)
Make sure the discharge brush is in contact with the upper heat roller.
(2) Upper and lower separation pawls
1 With the fusing unit opened, remove the upper and lower separa-
tion pawls.
(3) Upper cleaning rollers
1 Remove the front and rear CL springs.
2 Remove the front CL bearing and move it rearward.
3 Remove the upper cleaning roller.
Note: When reinstalling the upper cleaning roller, make sure the CL
spring holds the bearing in place.
(4) Lower cleaning rollers
Hook the front and rear lower cleaning rollers on the frame groove, to
release the compression pressure.
