6. Auto duplex unit
(1) Pick-up roller
1 Pull out the duplex copy tray.
2 Remove the ADU front cover and front cover a.
3 Remove two sensor connectors.
4 Remove the screw securing fulcrum hold plate.
5 Remove the upper and lower transport paper guides from the
ADU.
6 Remove the clutch lock plate.
7 Loosen the set screw and remove the clutch.
8 Remove the pick-up roller drive shaft.
9 Push down the spring holder and remove the pick-up roller unit
from the ADU.
F Remove the E ring from the side of the pick-up roller arm at the
rear frame.
G Remove the E ring from the side of the paper holding arm (at each
of the front and rear frames), and remove the pick-up roller.
(2) Paper feed roller
1 Remove the upper and lower transport paper guides from the
ADU.
2 Remove the clutch lock plate and remove the E ring at the clutch
side.
3 Displace the bearing and remove the paper feed roller drive shaft
toward the front frame.
4 Remove the paper feed roller.
