1. Developing section
(1) Adjusting developing doctor clearance
1 Remove the four screws securing the toner hopper and the
developer tank and 5-pin connector, to separate the toner tank
hopper from the developer tank.
2 Loosen the four screws A securing the DV doctor (2 at the front
and 2 at the rear frame).
3 Insert 0.05 mm clearance gauges at positions 50 ∼ 80 mm from
the end of the DV doctor.
4 Press the DV doctor in the direction indicated by the arrow, and
tighten the DV doctor fixing screws (4 screws both at the front and
rear frames).
5 Make sure the clearance is 0.55+0.03-0.03 at the positions 50 ∼
80 mm from both ends of the DV doctors.
* Note: Use caution not to damage the DV doctor or MG roller
when inserting clearance gauges.
