E. Paper transport roller/Separation roller/Torque limiter
a. Open the desk right door.
b. Remove the one-way clutch and paper transport roller.
c. Remove the separation roller and torque limiter.
Note: When reinstalling the torque limiter, align the notch with the
parallel pin on the shaft and make sure the torque limiter is
inserted to stop.
(5) Resist roller unit
A. Resist roller unit
a. Remove the desk cabinets R/L.
b. Remove the paper tray 2 and paper tray 3.
c. Remove the screws and slide the resist roller unit to the left to
remove it.
Note: When reinstalling the resist roller unit, observe the following
precautions:
• The cable band should be tied together with the resist roller unit.
• Pay attention to the lengths of the screws A and B. (The screw A is
longer than the screw B.)
B. Resist sensor
a. Remove the resist roller unit.
b. Remove the resist roller sensor unit.
C. Resist roller
a. Remove the resist roller unit.
b. Remove the E-ring and detach the gear and belt.
c. Remove the clip.
d. Shift the resist roller to the left and remove it.
Note: When reinstalling the resist roller, install the gold color spring
at the upper side.
