(Entering document detection judgement level)
The reference value which determines whether an document is
present or not is entered. In addition, the detection of the sensor is
monitored based on this value.

With the document cover opened and no document present, turn
the print switch (PSW) ON. The ready lamp goes out and then
comes on again. (The non-document sensor level is read.)

SET AN A3-SIZE COPY PAPER ON THE
ORIGINAL TABLE, AND TURN ON THE PRINT
SWITCH WITH THE ORIGINAL COVER OPENED.

3 Lay a sheet of A3 or W letter size transfer paper on the document
table. With the document cover opened, turn the print switch ON.
(The document-present sensor level is read, and the judgement
level which determines whether an document is present or not is
stored in memory.)
(It is possible to check the sensor levels in SIM 41-03.)
<Reference> Detection level setting principle
The sensor level with document and the sensor level without docu-
ment are read, and the average (central value) is stored in memory.
(Sensor check mode)
Execute SIM 41-01 to check photo sensor operation. (The system
automatically enters the check mode after document detection judge-
ment level is entered.)
