12. PRINT SEQUENCE
Printing is carried out following communication between the engine and
controller that determines the timing to be used.
A general outline of the printing sequence is described below.

Prepares for printing
- Print head
- Feeds a sheet of paper, etc.
Sends the vertical direction
synchronizing signal when
the Paper Take-Up Sensor is
ON.
Sends the main-scanning
direction synchronizing signal.
Prints out video data for
one scan.
Printing is completed.
Initiates the printing
command.
Receives the vertical
direction synchronizing
signal.
Receives the main-
scanning direction syn-
chronizing signal.
Sends video data for
one scan.
Has one page
