Us ed in a nother manner the L I NE co mmand interprets the point specifications as the endpoints
of a diagonal. It wi ll then proceed to draw the bo x repres ented by th e diagonal. The form for
this LINE stateme n t is:
LINE (X 1. X2) - (Y1 . Y2). line· t ype , color. B
The upper case 13 indicates th at this is a box drawing comma nd . The other parameters are the
same as for the previ ous form of the command.
The final fo rm of the LINE command a ll ows multiple point specifications to be made. Each
point, after the first, r ep re sents a destination e1)dpoint of t he nex t line seg men t to be dr\J\Vn .
The cu rr ent positi on is assumed as the starting endpo i nt fo r the li ne segment. This form of the
LINE command is:
LINE (X 1, Yll - (X2, Y2) - .. . (X6, Y6} , line· tv pe, c olor
The th ree do ts in the form above ar e used to indicate that a se ri es of point specifications (up to
six in a row} may be gi ven . Note that the B parameter may NOT be used in t his fo rm of the
command. An example program to d raw a triangle using four li ne segments is given bc l o1ov. Li ne
15 serves me rely to establish the ori gi n, while !he triangle is drawn by line 20 :
