S ADDING TONER
S TONER NACHFÜLLEN
The toner required (
S
) indicator will light up when
toner is needed. If copying is continued while the
S
indicator is lit, copies will gradually become lighter until
the copier stops and the indicator begins blinking.
After the copier stops, it may be possible to make a few
more copies by opening the front cover and tapping
lightly with your fingers on the front side of upper part
of the toner cartridge. If copying is not possible after
this operation, replace the toner cartridge.
The
S
indicator may also begin blinking during long
copy runs of multiple dark originals, even though toner
is left. If the indicator begins to blink, the copier will stop
making copies. Open and close the front cover. When
sufficient toner has been fed, the
S
indicator will go
out and the READY indicator will light up. Press the
print (
z
) button to resume copying.
For best copying results, be sure to use only Sharp
products.

1. Press the buttons on both sides to
unlatch the front cover and open it.
2. Press down on the lever while pulling
the handle to unlatch the toner car-
tridge. Grasp the handle and carefully
swing the cartridge out and to the right
of the copier until it stops.

weiter kopiert wird, werden die Kopien allmählich
heller, bis der Kopierer stoppt und die Anzeige blinkt.
Wenn der Kopierer stoppt, können eventuell noch ein
paar Kopien gemacht werden, indem die Frontverklei-
dung geöffnet wird und leicht mit der Hand an die
Vorderseite des oberen Teils der Tonereinheit ge-
klopft wird. Wenn danach immer noch nicht kopiert
werden kann, muß die Entwicklereinheit gewechselt
werden. Die Toneranzeige
S
blinkt auch, wenn über
lange Zeit viele dunkle Originale kopiert werden, auch
wenn noch genügend Toner vorhanden ist. Die Anzei-
ge blinkt dann und der Kopierer hält an. Öffnen und
schließen Sie die Frontverkleidung. Wenn genügend
Toner zugeführt wurde, erlischt die Toneranzeige
S
und die Bereitschaftsanzeige leuchtet auf. Kopiertaste
(
z
) drücken und mit dem Kopieren fortfahren.
Verwenden Sie für beste Kopierergebnisse aus-
schließlich Sharp-Produkte. Die Verpackung des
Sharp-Toners trägt das Etikett für Original-Verbrauchs-
material.
1. Zur Entriegelung der Frontverkleidung
Knöpfe an beiden Seiten drücken und
Frontverkleidung ausklinken und öff-
nen.
2. Den Hebel herunterdrücken und am
Griff ziehen, so daß die Tonereinheit
ausrastet. Griff nehmen und vorsich-
tig bis zum Anschlag nach außen und
rechts schwenken.
