Why no sound from surround back speakers on my Sherwood Newcastle R-872 Receiver?

If you're not getting sound from the surround back speakers on your Sherwood Receiver, it could be due to several reasons. The input signal format or current surround mode may not support 7.1 (or 6.1) surround. Ensure the surround back channels' power amplifier is assigned correctly and not to "BI-AMP" or "ROOM 2". Also, check that the master volume and surround back level are not too low, and that the surround back speaker setting is not set to "NO".
