What to do if Digi-Link is not working on my Sherwood RX-4109 Stereo Receiver?
    • F
      fsmithSep 23, 2025
If the Digi-Link fails on your Sherwood Stereo Receiver, check the Digi-Link line for disconnections and inspect the Digi-Link IN/OUT circuit. The µ-COM IC & Resonator may also be inferior. Check µ-COM IC B+(5)V and the µ-COM clock pulse.

Why is my Sherwood Stereo Receiver remote not working?
    • K
      Katie MartinAug 25, 2025
If your Sherwood Stereo Receiver remote control isn't working, replace the batteries. Also, make sure nothing is blocking the remote sensor.

Why is there no sound from the tuner on my Sherwood RX-4109 Stereo Receiver?
    • T
      Tiffany RogersAug 26, 2025
If the tuner sound is dead on your Sherwood Stereo Receiver, with either L/R, Left, or Right channels not working, the MUTE TR may be inferior. Check for any connector disconnections or disjunctions and ensure they are properly inserted. Also, the FM DET COIL, AM IFT COIL, or MPX I.C might be faulty. Verify the MPX I.C signal IN/OUT terminal and its driving voltage (+9.1V).

Why is there no sound from the amp on my Sherwood RX-4109?
    • D
      David FreemanAug 27, 2025
If the AMP sound is dead on your Sherwood Stereo Receiver, with either L/R or just the Left channel not working, the Signal Mute TR's may be inferior. Also, check for any connector disconnections or disjunctions, and ensure they are properly inserted.

Why is the bass or treble control not working on my Sherwood Stereo Receiver?
    • H
      Hannah CarterAug 27, 2025
If the bass or treble control fails on your Sherwood Stereo Receiver, check the TONE VOLUME IC. Verify the signal IN/OUT terminal, the IC voltage (+10V), and the IC control data.

What to do if keys are not working on my Sherwood RX-4109?
    • M
      Monica BerrySep 16, 2025
To solve the key disorder on your Sherwood Stereo Receiver, check if the keys are being pushed. Inspect the KEY Signal input components for any faults. Also, check the KEY data, and verify the µ-COM I.C or Resonator for any issues, including µ-COM IC B+(5.5)V and the µ-COM clock pulse.

Why is the right channel not working on my Sherwood RX-4109?
    • F
      Francisco JonesSep 13, 2025
If the Right channel is dead on your Sherwood Stereo Receiver, check the speaker wire for disjunction and ensure it's properly inserted. Also, the signal switching IC might be faulty. Verify the IC voltage (+10V), switching IC control data, and switching IC signal IN/OUT.

Why is the AM not working on my Sherwood RX-4109 Stereo Receiver?
    • S
      schmidtlorraineSep 15, 2025
If the AM function fails on your Sherwood Stereo Receiver, the AM V.T voltage may be inferior. Also, check the PLL IC, including PLL IC B+(5)V and PLL control data (Data/CE/Clock).

What to do if my Sherwood Stereo Receiver is not recording?
    • S
      Stephen PruittSep 5, 2025
If your Sherwood Stereo Receiver is not recording, verify the connections between the components are correct. Also, ensure that each component is operated correctly for playback and recording.

Why is my Sherwood RX-4109 Stereo Receiver hissing during FM stereo broadcast?
    • S
      schmidtgregorySep 3, 2025
If your Sherwood Stereo Receiver is producing a continuous hissing noise during FM reception, especially when a stereo broadcast is received, try changing the position of the antenna. Weak signals may be the cause. Consider installing an outdoor antenna.
