1. Ensure that MSLE is disconnected from the power supply.
2. Remove the terminal compartment (1) of the MSLE by
loosening the 4 fixing screws (Fig. 1, Appendix).
3. Ensure the MSLE configuration:
Using the Configuration Table (Fig. 2 or 3) check if the DIP
switches of the MSLE (2) are set according to the desired
unit function.
Furthermore, with the coded version of MSLE, check that
the code is set in accordance with the transmission code.
4. Set the desired muting function using the 8X DIP switch (3)
in the MSM according to the Configuration Table in the MSM
Operating Instructions.
5. Connect the 4-pin ribbon cable (4) of the MSM to the 4-pin
cable connector of the MSLE.
6. Connect the MSM and MSLE. Ensure that the 4-pin
interconnecting cable is routed properly.
7. Join the MSM and MSLE so that the interface fits tightly.
Secure the connection by tightening the hexagon socked
screws (5) of the mounting rails.
8. Connect the terminal compartment (1) to the MSM using
4 fixing screws.
