If the ID sensor cannot be accessed using the SOPAS ET configuration software after connecting the PC to the “AUX” male connector, ensure that switch S 4 is set to the “NO” position if no CMC600 is plugged in. Additionally, reload and integrate a suitable device description file in SOPAS ET via the device catalog, and use the “Device search” function to establish communication with the ID sensor.

If signals from the connected read cycle sensor continue to have no effect in the ID sensor, you should connect the read cycle sensor according to the operating instructions of the ID sensor. Also, check the position of switch S 3 (SGND– GND). Finally, set the source of the read cycle in the ID sensor to “Sensor 1” using the SOPAS ET configuration software and download it to the ID sensor.
