Stern Thruster Mounting – Wakeboats
and Sportboats
Using the thruster mounting flange as a template drill two 3/8” holes to the wave-
shaping plate or transom depending on space availability. For transom mounting
use the provided backing plate for securing the thruster from the inside of the
transom. Inject some sealant into both holes to ensure a watertight fit.
Note: On transom mounts ensure there are no obstructions on either side
of the thruster to inhibit water flow, otherwise performance will be
affected. See illustration below.
Install the provided through-hull cable seal following the manufacturers instructions.
Route the thruster cables through the cable seal to the inside of the hull. Note that
the cable seal is not recommended for below water installation.
