When operating the side rails ensure that they are free from obstruction
to prevent injury / entrapment
Ensure that the side rails are locked in position at all times
Ensure that the occupant is away from the sides of the cot and cannot fall when
adjusting the mattress platform position, if the side rails are in the lowest position.
9. Side Rails
Your cot comes complete with two integral telescoping side rails which can be locked
in position at six different heights. When the side rail is fully down it provides the carer
with complete access to the mattress platform regardless of the cot height.
i) Adjusting the Side Rail Height
Release the side rail by gently sliding the two yellow buttons outwards, this disengages
the locking mechanism. While holding the buttons out gently lower/raise the side rail
into the desired position and release the buttons. Ensure that the side rail has
locked in position at both ends.
