Notes for Windows® 7
Consider the following for driver installation under Windows® 7:
As a default in Windows 7, the operating system first scans the Internet for new
drivers, then local directories are scanned for new drivers. This process may take
several minutes.
To avoid long waiting times and install the driver directly from a local directory, you
should deactivate the above described default setting, before you start the driver instal‐
lation.

Click on “Start ÿ Control Panel ÿ Device Installation Setup”.
▶ Activate the following options:
─ No, let me choose what to do.
─ Install driver software from Windows update, if not found on my computer.
Installing the driver
To operate the USB↔ISA adapter with the standard PC, you must install a USB driver.
When you connect the USB↔ISA adapter to the PC via a USB cable and the new hard‐
ware is identified, Windows opens a wizard for the installation of the USB driver.
To install the driver, proceed as shown in the following figures.

Activate the option “No, not this time” and click on “Next”.
