4.12 Pipes on the ceiling
Use the pipe system components for mounting. See 'Pipe system components
[➙22]'.
Mount the pipes on the ceiling using plastic clamps.
Comply with the following specifications:
● Gap from pipe to ceiling 25…100mm
● Gap(a) 200cm maximum
● Gap(a) 30cm maximum in the event of large temperature variations and
strong vibrations
● Free expansion of the pipe as the temperature varies
● Leave a large enough gap from the fastening parts to the aspirating holes in
the pipe to ensure the aspirating holes will not be covered when the pipe
expands as the temperature varies.
