4.2 Distributed, campus-style systems
Examples for campus size systems are:
- Universities
- Airports
- Amusement parks (e.g. Disneyland)
- Industries
- Pharmaceutical companies
- Hospitals
- Automobile manufacturing plants
The following figure shows a typical campus site configuration. The subsystems of
each building are connected to an NK82xx Ethernet Port. The NK82xx are connected
via the LAN or WAN to the remote management station.
