On a DMS8000 system, you launch NW8204 by selecting the NW8204.exe file
from the following directory:
<InstallationDir>\Communication Layer\NK8210WebServer\NW8204
The default installation folder is: C:\Program files\DMS8000 (assuming an English
version of Windows).
To install the NW8204 tool on a service PC, do the following:
1. Logon to computer as Administrator (for details, contact the network
administrator).
2. Insert the DMS8000 DVD.
3. Select the Support Tools option.
4. Select Install NW8204.exe.
Install Shield Wizard opens.
5. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
Silent installation
To automate the installation of the NW8204 tool (silent installation), use the
following command line:
"NW8204 Setup.exe" –a –sl –Install –TARGETDIR="<UtilDir>"
where <UtilDir> stands for the path to the installation directory.
