Copper Ethernet Ports
The RX1500 supports several 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports with RJ-45 or M12 (bypass or non-bypass)
connectors. The RJ-45 and M12 connectors are directly connected to the chassis ground on the device and can
accept CAT-5 shielded twisted-pair (STP) cables.
CAUTION!
Contamination hazard – risk of damage to equipment. M12 modules are shipped with internal O-rings
and dust caps to prevent the ingress of dirt and debris that may damage the port. Make sure the O-
rings and dust caps are installed on all unused M12 ports.
