3.4 Testing the patient response switch
f Press the patient response switch and the light labeled
RESPONSE (to the left of the display) will illuminate green.
3.5 Audiometer display
On start-up the display will show the following default setting:
This indicates that when the PRESENT key is pressed, the tone
presented will be at 30dBHL at a frequency of 1kHz (1000 Hz)
to the designated ear. Please note that on start up, the
audiometer defaults to the left ear.
3.6 Audiometer controls
3.6.1 SoftKeys
Four softkeys are provided below the display that may refer to an
associated option shown on the display. In this operating manual
these are referenced as Softkey 1 to Softkey 4 from left to right.
