Redundant connection of the Compact FF Link and coupler redundancy on the FOUNDATION Fieldbus
The figure below shows an example of the redundant connection of Compact FF Link to a
SIMATIC S7-410H or to a redundant DP master system. Coupler redundancy is configured
with an active field splitter on the FF segment. The active field distributor connected to the FF
segment enables mutual decoupling in case of FF device faults.
