Invalid configuration states of the ET 200MP on PROFINET IO
Invalid configuration states
The following invalid configuration states of the ET 200MP lead to a short failure of the
ET 200MP IO device or prevent the exchange of user data with the I/O modules.
● More than two power supply modules (PS) inserted to the right of the interface module
● Number of modules exceeds maximum configuration
● Faulty backplane bus (e.g., additional IM present).
● I/O modules of a power segment consume more power than can be provided (overload).
In the case of an overload, the interface module provides diagnostic information,
cyclically checks the connection to the backplane bus and re-establishes it as soon as
possible.
